Are the type system represented by XmlSchema and the CLS isomorphic?

Purpose:
  • This is a torturous question to ask and might not be very fair. 
  • Essentially we want to test whether the developer has ever had to deal with impedance mismatches between different technologies or markups languages. In simpler words where types are handled differently or where they are not equivalent (read isomorphic).
  • The chances of most developers being able to infer this purpose from this question is low, if they do it could indicate rock star or socially inept savant.

Potential Answer:
Fancy way of asking if each member in the CLS (Common Language Specification) has a corresponding one in XmlSchema. A lot of the methods to members match xsd:Decimal matches Decimal type etc but there are some impedance mismatches so they can't be said to be isomorphic...
